Down To Earth was gifted Palmer Legends, The Villages’ signature facility, along with two other championship courses without a bid process due to the outstanding service that has been exhibited since first being contracted in November 2014. With the addition of these three championship courses, Down To Earth Golf currently maintains more holes in The Villages than any other golf maintenance company.

Palmer Legends was designed to complement the already dramatic vistas located throughout the golf course. Several holes play adjacent to the large dry prairie nature preserve and a few others overlook Lake Sumter and Lake Sumter Landing. Course features include several water hazards, demanding bunkers, and rolling terrain. Consisting of 27 holes (with each nine providing its own set of challenges), the course stretches to a total of 7,180 yards — a challenge for even the most seasoned golfer. However, there are five sets of tees allowing for an enjoyable experience for all skill levels.
